Shopping on Whit Monday
The shops in the Stadshart are open on Monday 6 June from 12:00 to 17:00. The garden centers De Driesprong and the Intratuin are also open on both Pentecost days. A good time to buy new plants and dive into the garden.
De Driesprong organizes a puzzle tour on Whit Monday (Sunday 5 June) and you can cuddle with alpacas.

From Saturday 4 to Monday 6 June, there will be approximately twenty food trucks in the Silverdome parking lot. Food truck festival Hoppaaa is mainly aimed at families. Not only can you enjoy good food, the children can have fun in the carousel and there is live music.

Blues Festival
On Friday 3 June, the three-day Blues festival will kick off in our city. Until Whit Monday you can visit 29 bands and listen to blues from local and national artists. The event starts on Friday evening with a pub tour through the Dorpsstraat and the Stadshart. Read the full program below:

Flour Mill Festival
On Saturday 4 June the party is at Mill De Hoop on First Station Street. Due to the 125th anniversary, three choirs will perform during the Korenmolenfestival from 1 p.m. Get an ice cream or a tasty sandwich and listen in the sun.

Cycling to the pigs of farmer Kobus
The pigs of pig farm ‘t Bosvarken forage in the Balijbos. During the Good Food bike ride you can visit the company on Whit Monday. The tour starts at 13.00 from the Hof van Seghwaert. It is about 30 minutes by bike via a beautiful route to Pijnacker. At the farm, farmer Kobus tells about his company and why organic farming is important. Then you can visit the pigs.
