The US Department of Defense has released new details regarding the US soldier who deliberately crossed the border into North Korea on Tuesday. Travis King, 23, was escorted to the airport in South Korea and was supposed to fly back to the United States, but he disappeared before boarding, Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said in Washington on Thursday.
