Pensioner (85) beaten, choked and robbed – perpetrators escape undetected

Two unknown men harassed and attacked a pensioner in her apartment in Halensee on Saturday.

On Saturday morning, the duo rang the doorbell of the 85-year-old woman, threatened her with a gun and pushed her into her apartment on Kurfürstendamm.

One of the perpetrators searched the room for valuables while the other held the woman on the sofa, slapped her in the face, choked her and demanded her valuables.

The duo then fled. In front of the apartment building, the strangers met a passerby who they hit several times in the face. The two suspected robbers fled undetected in the direction of Karlsruher Strasse.

The elderly woman suffered multiple lacerations on her face and was treated on site by rescue workers who had been alerted. The 44-year-old witness was also injured in the face and was taken to a hospital for outpatient treatment.
