Penile breakdown in the World Cup race for Swedish runner Berglund

Some people probably think that something like that can happen. Others would probably be more critical of a Swedish cross-country skier’s choice of clothing.

There are clothes that are too big, too loose – or in this case, just too tight. Swedish cross-country skier Gustaf Berglund made a small faux pas when choosing his racing clothing.

The “crime scene”: The World Cup race in Goms (Switzerland). In one photo, Berglund can be seen casually posing. Quite inconspicuous at first glance – a little spicier at second glance. Because the outlines of his best piece can be seen under the tight-fitting suit.

The athlete only told the Swedish newspaper “Expressen”: “Yes, I can see from the picture afterwards that there was a small mistake in my choice of clothing.” And further: “Shit! I should have taken the windbreaker with me. It was pretty obvious what was hidden under the racing suit. But it’s reality.”

In the end, Berglund didn’t have any major problems with the picture that the Swedish Ski Association posted on Instagram, because there was also positive feedback, as he revealed: “There were a few people who came forward, applauded and congratulated.”
