Musician Pelle Miljoona, 68, tells about his wife, journalist-literary therapist Teija Varinsen55, about the great sadness he experienced with In an interview with Koti photo magazine. The couple has been together for 15 years, and there has also been a difficult experience along the way.

The couple says they had a miscarriage.

– I got pregnant in 2010. The waiting progressed so far that the stomach could already be seen and felt a little. We had time to tell the good news to those closest to us, but the pregnancy was aborted. One moment from the hospital has been etched in my mind. I lay on the bed and Pelle turned towards the window so that he had his back to me. I could see that he was having a really hard time. The memory still makes me cry, even though it’s been a long time, Varis tells Kodin kuvalehti.

– We would now have a 12-year-old skid if everything had gone well, Pelle Miljoona continues.

The couple says that they decided at that time that they would not try for a child again.

– We were old enough that we decided not to try for a child anymore. It was a surprisingly big sadness. However, the event has increased respect for life and strengthened the unspoken connection between us, Varis describes to the magazine.

In the end, the couple thinks that the tragedy strengthened their relationship.

For the first time, Pelle and Teija quickly met already in 1980, when Teija was only 12 years old. The two recall to Kodi’s picture magazine that Teija was at Pelle Miljoona’s gig at the time and dared to ask the star for a photo together. Ten years later, they met again after a gig and began to communicate irregularly. The relationship turned into love in 2008.
