Brazil’s football icon Pelé has left the hospital in Sao Paulo after an examination in the course of his colon cancer treatment.
As the clinic announced, the condition of the 81-year-old was “good and stable”. Pelé had been in the Albert Einstein Hospital since Monday.
According to his family, Pelé is in the hospital at least once a month for check-ups and to continue chemotherapy for the colon tumor discovered last September. In February, his stay lasted longer due to a urinary tract infection.
