Peer Koopmeiners will again not be admired at AZ next season. The 23-year-old midfielder will go on a rental basis to the promoted Almere City FC, on which both clubs have reached an oral agreement. He was already rented out to Excelsior last season. Zico Buurmeester is rented out to PEC Zwolle.
Koopmeiners played nine games for the Alkmaarders in the Eredivisie and nineteen for Excelsior. Teun’s younger brother previously played 115 games in the first division for Jong AZ.

There was more transfer news, because Zico Buurmeester will play for PEC Zwolle next season. AZ announced last night that Zico Buurmeerster’s contract has been extended. The 21-year-old midfielder is now with the Alkmaarders until 2026. “This is a very nice feeling. I am happy with the confidence of the club,” said Egmonder.
AZ will play the next exhibition match tomorrow evening. Norwich City is the opponent in Dirkshorn from 6.30 pm.
