Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf hires three new executives

The Düsseldorf-based clothing retailer Peek & Cloppenburg KG has strengthened its top management with three newcomers. On Tuesday, the company announced that Steffen Schüller had been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this function, he will be responsible for “finance and taxes, treasury, controlling, law and insurance,” the company explained. Schüller had previously held the position of chief financial officer at car dealer Emil Frey and at Lidl Digital.

Melanie Kleemann will be the new Chief Sales Officer (CSO). She is thus taking on responsibility for stationary sales of the P&C and Anson’s concepts in Germany and abroad. With the appointment, “the area of ​​Dr. Stephan Fanderl, who as managing director and member of the management board is responsible for the entire area of ​​sales, construction, expansion, strategic branch development and sales operations,” explained the retailer. Kleemann comes from the household appliance supplier Vorwerk, where she was Global Senior Vice President Customer. She previously held various management positions at Swedish furniture retailer Ikea.

Alexander Deopito took on a managerial position at the Viennese headquarters of the retail group. Peek & Cloppenburg announced that he had represented the company’s management there since May 1st. The former CEO of Lidl Austria will “use his extensive retail experience to continue to successfully position the company in Austria and Eastern Europe and to drive the targeted growth,” explained the clothing retailer.
