Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf: Changes in management

There are two changes in management at the Düsseldorf fashion retailer.

CFO Steffen Schüller left Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf at the beginning of the year “to take on new professional challenges,” the company confirmed at the request of FashionUnited. The trade magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on it. He took over responsibility for the areas of finance and taxes, treasury, controlling as well as law and insurance in May 2022. In addition, with his appointment he was also responsible for the management of Peek & Cloppenburg KG in Vienna.

According to Düsseldorf, information about a successor will be provided at a later date. Until then, Axel Richter will be available as a contact person for all financial issues. Attorney Richter from the law firm AndresPartner has supported the group of companies as a consultant in recent months. Restructuring expert Dirk Andres (AndresPartner) supported the fashion retailer in the last insolvency proceedings as restructuring manager.

New purchasing manager

Meanwhile, Uwe Fehr will be appointed to the management board on February 1st and will be responsible for purchasing. He should push forward the topic of product range alignment in the coming months.

Fehr was previously responsible for men’s and women’s purchasing. After the company parted ways with a large part of the management team last March, his area of responsibility was expanded to include womenswear in addition to menswear, which he took over from Henriette Tesch. At this point, the management consisted of CEO Thomas Freude, CFO Schüller and restructuring expert Andres.
