Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf appoints Romina Sauer as Head of HR Business Partners

The Düsseldorf trading group Peek & Cloppenburg KG has filled a management position in human resources. The company announced that Romina Sauer has been responsible for HR Business Partners as Director since September 1st. In her new role, she reports directly to Carolin Schwarz, who is responsible for the HR & Corporate Communications departments in the company management.

According to the retailer, Sauer came to Peek & Cloppenburg as a trainee in 2006 and was Director Supplier Controlling & Management until she moved to Human Resources. Björn Stolte, who had previously worked in the company as a senior buyer, took over the management of strategic purchasing.

Peek & Cloppenburg explained Sauer’s appointment in a statement: “HR work is an important part of the transformation process and the establishment of agile organizational development, personnel retention and resource building are important pillars in the implementation,” it says there. “Romina Sauer has many years of organizational and process expertise from various business areas of the P&C group of companies and will support the specialist departments in the implementation of their strategies with her teams as a sparring partner.”
