A pedestrian was injured after a collision with a car on the Vondelstraat in Alkmaar. The victim was rushed to hospital.
The pedestrian wanted to cross, but was then shoveled. Two ambulances came to the scene of the accident and took the victim to the hospital, the police said. It is unclear how the victim is doing now.
The driver of the car was taken to the station according to procedure. There is no alcohol or drugs involved.
Further investigations are currently being carried out by the police.
