Peak Performance reorganizes B2B business

There are a few changes coming to Peak Performance. The Swedish ski and outdoor brand is reorganizing its B2B business and announced several personnel changes as part of the restructuring on Thursday.

Marcel Hess will be in charge of the outdoor brand’s global B2B business. He has been with the company for ten years, most recently he was responsible for the omni-channel business in Central Europe. Hess, who brings extensive experience and knowledge of the retail and B2B landscape, will take up his new post as Global Head of B2B and Export, effective immediately, the announcement said. In this role, he will continue to advance the omnichannel strategy, position Peak Performance with important trading partners and expand the franchise business.

The previous Country Manager for Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland and Slovenia, Martin Gaffal, will also be promoted from within the company. In the future, he will assume the role of Head of B2B Central Europe.

Further changes in the Germany team and two new additions

In the Germany team of the outdoor brand, the staff wheel keeps turning. Alexander Staufer, previously Digital Key Account Manager, has been appointed Sales Manager Germany and Marketplace. He is now responsible for the development of the German market, the management of the German sales team and the strategic development of the marketplace business.

The team is also getting reinforcements from two newcomers. Linda Mehlhase has been with the Swedish brand since April 1st. In the future she will be responsible for field accounts in Germany and Austria. According to her profile on the LinkedIn career network, she previously worked as an account manager at Fabienne Chapot and as a senior sales manager at Better Rich.

On July 1, Andreas Lang will also switch to Peak Performance from the outdoor brand Icebreaker, where he looked after major digital customers. He takes on the role of key account manager at the Swedish brand and will be responsible for growth with strategically important accounts, according to the announcement.

“We are convinced that with this new structure we are perfectly positioned to meet our country-specific requirements and to optimally implement our growth plans in wholesale and franchise,” says Marcel Hess about the restructuring, which will come into effect from May.
