Peak Performance presents a capsule for female mountain bikers.
The Swedish outdoor brand, in collaboration with German graphic designer and cyclist Amélie Graef, has released a capsule for women who practice off-road cycling. The collection aims to promote inclusion in outdoor activities, Peak Performance announced on Monday.
In keeping with the brand’s recent trail focus, offering items for mountain biking, hiking and trail running, the collection includes a lightweight anorak, dark red performance shorts, as well as white T-shirts and sporty accessories, including a graffiti-inspired cap. In addition to colorful graphics, the clothing is adorned with motivational sayings that are primarily intended to encourage female ‘trail blazers’ (in German, trailblazers) in their sporting activities.
“For me, ‘Trailblazers’ are people who want to take unconventional paths and trust their gut feeling – a form of energy that I have interpreted here with mantras and symbols,” said Amélie Graef.
‘Peak Performance x Amélie Graef’ is available from March 26th Berlin shop as well as available in the brand’s online shop.
