Peace Village closes in winter due to high energy costs

Mostly schools and British young people come to stay in Peace Village. Sally Meysman, director of Peace Village: “It is true that the occupation is slightly less in the winter months than in the summer months. And yet we have to heat more than in the summer. That is why we are closing, it is no longer profitable to to keep it open.”

Peace Village plans to receive guests again in mid-February. Although that will depend on the possible measures that the government takes, it sounds here.
