P&C Düsseldorf sticks to sustainable store concept – opening postponed

Despite the current difficulties, the Düsseldorf fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg is sticking to its plans for the opening of the ‘Conscious Fashion’ store. However, it is not exactly clear when the store will open in Berlin.

The opening is planned for spring, according to Peek & Cloppenburg KG at the request of FashionUnited. However, the fashion retailer cannot give an exact date at the moment.

Last June, the company announced plans for the store concept with a focus on sustainability. The shop is being built in Berlin’s High Street district on Potsdamer Platz and will offer a sales area of 3,500 square meters spread over three floors. Sustainability solutions are to be tested there in the future, which could then also be rolled out in other stores.

P&C has appointed Thimo Schwenzfeier, who has been with the company as General Sales Manager since January 1, to manage the site. Before that, he was Marketing Director at the Greentech Festival and Show Director at the sustainability trade fair Neonyt.
