P&C Düsseldorf joins the German trade association

The Düsseldorf fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg joins the German trade association.

Both Peek & Cloppenburg KG, Düsseldorf and its sister company Anon’s KG become members of the German Trade Association (HDE).

The step of joining the trade association is an important one because it is an “excellently networked partner and stakeholder in almost identical political focus topics,” it said on Tuesday from Düsseldorf. The key topics mentioned include increasing the attractiveness of city centers, improving sustainability and addressing the shortage of skilled workers in retail. The current challenges of the fashion trade can only be addressed and solved with the necessary impact together with the HDE.

“We are very pleased to welcome Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf, one of the most important players in the German fashion trade, as a new member of the HDE,” said HDE Managing Director Stefan Genth. “This strengthens the HDE in its role as a mouthpiece for the entire industry. As a family business, P&C has been shaping retail and city centers in Germany for more than 120 years. Together we will work on concepts for the future of retail.”
