“A different pricing, in combination with more information and water-saving techniques, can contribute to more economical water use and more awareness among customers,” confirms Madelon Vink of the Association of Drinking Water Companies (Vewin). The first results of a study by the Berenschot agency, commissioned by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, will be published in mid-September into ways to stimulate more conscious and sustainable water consumption.
