In Finland, HJK’s European League home matches are eagerly awaited. The tickets against Real Betis and AS Roma were sold out within an hour, and the Bulgarian opponent Ludogorets also filled the Bolt arena with a delay last Thursday.
Those who redeemed a ticket for the Roma match will be a little disappointed, as the away team will not be able to assemble their brightest crew for the match to be played at the end of October. According to Sky Sports Italia, the eternal city team will have to manage an estimated 4-8 weeks without their brightest superstar Paulo Dybala.
Dybala was injured in the match against Lecce at the weekend. The Argentinian shot the target with confidence, but injured his leg in the process. The pained expression indicated that it was no easy trouble.
After the match, the club’s head coach Jose Mourinho commented that he was worried about his player’s condition. In addition to the HJK match, Dybala is at risk of being sidelined for the World Cup finals starting in November.
HJK and Roma will meet in Helsinki on October 27. Before that, both have one game in between. HJK travels to Northern Bulgaria to visit Ludogorets and Roma to Seville to visit Real Betis.
The Europa League group is led by Betis, who have won all their matches. Third-placed Roma competes with Ludogorets for second place, so they have plenty of input on their visit to Helsinki, which in turn can be seen in the lineup assigned to the pitch.
It is at least to be expected that the viewers will see the “Special One” guiding his players on the edge of Bolt’s artificial turf.
