Paula Rubin RE | News

Paula, what is your academic background?

I was born and raised in Argentina, and I have lived in Miami for almost 20 years.

In Buenos Aires I developed my professional career at the Inter-American Development Bank -IDB-, there I actively participated in the Professional Training Committee of the organization. Additionally I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. Later, in 2003 I moved to Florida where I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration.

How were the beginnings of your company?

I started working as a Real Estate Agent at Coldwell Banker in 2013.

Currently, and for almost 10 years, I have been dedicated to the Real Estate industry in South Florida working on the purchase, sale and rental of properties, both for foreign investors and local clients.

In turn, I worked for five years at the American Cancer Society, organizing events and raising funds for the NGO.

In addition, I am Coordinator of the Women’s Business Committee of the Argentine American Chamber of Commerce in Florida.

What strategies helped you?

My personal and professional experiences, together with the education I have received, helped me grow and be the person and professional that I am.

I believe that the different experiences and the open-mindedness that living in another country generates, as well as living with different cultures, enriched me even more and made me able to develop myself with greater professionalism today.

Regarding volunteer activities, as well as my participation as Coordinator in the Women’s Business Committee, I consider that they are a contribution to society, that they not only enrich me personally, but it is also an opportunity to give back and collaborate with all those join our community.

How was the tour and what challenges did you have to go through to achieve it?

The transition path between one country and another was not easy and took a few years. Cultures, work culture and ways of living are different. For me, the key was the ability to adapt and flexibility; not only to constant market changes but also to changes and new customer requirements.

What are your differentials in the field?

My clients are not just my clients, over the years I have managed to generate strong links thanks to the business generation. I take each transaction very personally and I would never propose an investment or business that I myself would not be willing to do. In addition, I have a team of professionals in my team from different areas (whether Lawyers, Accountants, Property Management Companies, etc.) to provide a One Stop Experience for my clients.
