It’s never been so nice to be so thoughtful. Paula Hartmann’s first album NIE VERLIEBT offers gentle poetry and lulls us into the sad and beautiful state of melancholy. The music of the actress and singer captures the emotional life of a young generation. She creates a feeling somewhere between disorientation, hope and daydreaming.
Shortly before Paula Hartmann released her debut album, a fourth single was released after “Never in Love”, “Truman Show Boot” and “Fahr uns nach Heimat Pt1”. In “No Happy End” she sings about a failed love relationship with rapper Casper.
20-year-old Paula Hartmann makes deep music with a lot of emotion. It’s usually immediately clear where the song is going to go, and you always end up thinking about what you heard. The sound can be located somewhere between synth pop and rap.
In addition to music and her law studies, Paula Hartmann has been working as an actress for years. She had her first television role in 2007. But Paula also wanted to be on stage as a musician. A wish that came true in 2021. The newcomer has been under contract with the Four Music label since 2021.
