Paul Grant: ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Star Wars’ actor dies unexpectedly

Paul Grant is dead. The actor was pronounced dead on Monday (March 20) after collapsing in London on March 16 and being taken to a hospital. It was there that he was found brain dead. On Sunday (March 19), the family decided to turn off life support. He was now 56 years old. This was confirmed by his daughter Sophie Jayne Grant.
“It breaks my heart… No girl deserves to have her father taken away from her… He was so well known and loved [für seine Arbeit]. He left us too soon,” she says.Sky Newsquoted. The trigger for his collapse is not yet known, only the rescue operation was officially confirmed. “We were called at 2.08pm on Thursday 16 March to an incident at St Pancras train station, Euston Road. He reportedly struggled with cocaine and alcohol abuse.
The 1.32 meter tall Grant played an Ewok in the sixth Star Wars film “Return of the Jedi”. He starred as a goblin in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The station in front of which he collapsed served as a backdrop for the film with the famous platform 9 ¾.
