Paul Gheysens sells Polish skyscraper to Google

The sale price is expected to reach €583 million, making the transaction the largest ever in the Central and Eastern European office market, the company said. Ghelamco sells the office building – The Warsaw HUB – to Google Poland.

The technology company is today one of the main tenants of the complex. Google will buy the office portion, the retail and service passage and the underground portion of the complex.

The Warsaw HUB comprises three buildings: an 86-meter high hotel building and two 130-meter office towers connected by a five-storey platform.

Active on the Polish real estate market

Gheysens has been active in Poland for over 30 years. With Ghelamco, he became the number one in the office market. The West Flemish farmer’s son rules over the skyline of the capital. Literally: he built several office complexes there, including the highest tower in the city.
