Paul de Leeuw finds the new program Chateau Assistance of the Meilandjes very inappropriate. Making fun of a life on welfare is not funny at all, according to him. “Ridiculous!”

The massive criticism of Chateau Bijstand has also not gone unnoticed by television star Paul de Leeuw. He can actually agree with it, he says at the table Today Inside† “I’ve followed Chateau Meiland for a really long time, but I think this is ehh, I haven’t looked at this. I think it’s a ridiculous formula. I’ve always found that a bit.”

Paul is critical

Paul just doesn’t think the format is ethical. “From: we’re going to do arm for a month and then we’ll just go back to our many plasma screens at home. But if you want to do that, you just have to do it.”

In order to form an opinion, Paul has seen a small part of Chateau Bijstand. “But what I find so strange… I just don’t understand… There is also no realization in how difficult it is to make ends meet on welfare. You just don’t feel that in the program.”

Full bags

Johan Derksen also took a look. “To have an opinion you have to look once. I hate that spring chicken, that screaming kitchen bitch. But there is a target group for it and then I think: who are they? Look, they are not reliable in the sense that they know they have their pockets full and they play a part of: we are equally poor.”

Paul: “Certainly in this day and age, it’s just really sour.”

wry

Johan: “It is also wry that entertainment is being made about a very serious problem of people who cannot make ends meet.”

Paul: “That’s what I mean.”
