KV Oostende has financial problems, but Conway puts things into perspective. “Things are under control. There is still work to be done. When we came here in 2020, the situation was much more difficult. Every day everyone within the club works very hard. The employees and staff are very committed to the club, the supporters too. But everything is under control.”
The players’ wages have now been paid, and the staff has also received their money. The suppliers remain hungry, but money is on the way. “It’s an eternal search for investors, but have I found any? I wouldn’t say so. Our investment group remains the same. However, one of our smaller investors has made a bigger effort. Everything is OK.”
