Patty Brard (68) is terribly unkind about the appearance of the world star Diana Ross (79). She thinks that her eyelids, make-up and teeth should be taken care of.
It is not done, but Patty Brard does it anyway: posting a close-up of an older woman and then going wild about her appearance. In what state of mind she got out of bed this morning is unclear, but Patty has an enlarged photo of Diana Ross in her Instagram account early in the morning.stories posted with sharp criticism.
“How she would fix!”
Patty’s story, which can be viewed here, shows a fine photo of Diana Ross. Apparently the Shownieuws diva looks at it differently. “I DON’T UNDERSTAND IT SO WELL: WHAT WOULD T REFURBISH! SUCH A TALENT!” she captioned it.
She places a link to a clinic for cosmetic surgery and injectables on Diana’s eyelids, a link to a make-up brand on her cheeks and a link to a veneers practice on her teeth. Why on earth would Patty be so unkind to this elderly woman? To the extent that women support women…
Disrespectful
By making negative comments about an older woman’s appearance, Patty contributes to ageism and the cultivation of negative stereotypes about aging. She suggests that there is something wrong with Diana’s appearance due to her age, contributing to a toxic culture where people can feel insecure and unworthy.
Whether it’s age discrimination or face-shaming; in the end, of course, it’s just plain disrespectful of Patty, especially towards someone with such a special track record. While the 79-year-old world star is giving a big performance this fall in the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome, Patty fills her evenings with reading news about Roy Donders.
No excuses
Can’t help but get a lot of negative comments from Patty about this one post received in her inbox, but after three hours, the close-up photo of Diana is still online. And so there are no excuses yet.
