Patty Brard, who will turn 68 next week, will continue with the strange videos she recently posted on Instagram. “We will do it very often. Nice puh.”
The almost birthday Patty Brard has suddenly taken a new direction on her Instagram channel. The television diva has a bit of what Connie Witteman also had for a while: a three quarter life crisis where social media is the outlet. Where Connie suddenly shot all kinds of catwalk-style videos all the time, Patty now does make-up before-and-afters.
Worrying videos
Patty recently posted videos on which she can be seen first without make-up and then with make-up. There is then a nice music underneath, which she diligently and somewhat tremblingly plays along. The videos are striking because according to the masses they do not fit her age. They are cheerful and uplifting in nature.
Many people have been addressing Patty for weeks about the videos, which they see as worrying. “Don’t think the videos really do you any good”, it sounds. Or: “Dear Pat, I think you’re great, but just stop with these videos. Just be an elegant woman of age. That TikTok wannabe is for the youth, dude.”
Patty doesn’t stop
However, Patty does not intend to listen to these criticisms. “We have such fun, so we still do it a lot. Nice puh!” she says.
What should followers do who don’t want to see it? “Just unfollow,” she advises. “Scroll through or unfollow, everything is possible!”
When people ask how old she is, she bounces back, “Sixty-seven! And still a happy egg!”
