Bundesliga professional Patrik Schick from Bayer Leverkusen has been voted Czech Footballer of the Year for the second time in a row.
In a poll by national association FACR, the striker finished ahead of midfielder Antonin Barak, who is currently on loan at Fiorentina from Hellas Verona. The results were presented at a gala evening in Prague.
The decision rests with a committee made up of first division coaches, experienced national players, media representatives and association officials. In the current Bundesliga season, Schick has scored three goals in 14 appearances so far.
