Laine scored two goals. Columbus still lost.

Patrick Laine got to show his abilities as a center forward. The third match of his career as a center did not bring a win. The Columbus Blue Jackets lost the practice match to the Buffalo Sabers 3–4.
They played on the edge of the wave Kirill Marchenko and Emil Bemström. The Finn said after the match that the skate did not seem to move at the beginning of the match.
– The first changes felt terrible. This week has been hard training, bike test. The leg was not at its freshest, Laine commented on Columbus’ X account.
Then Laine kicked the wind. He completed the Blue Jackets’ 1–0 and 3–0 hits.
With such a clear lead, the Blue Jackets could still lose. Buffalo started its streak in the middle of the match and came from three goals behind.
– We took way too many ices against that level of superiority. We can be satisfied with the first two batches, Laine continued.
Merelä and Kemell for power
In the match between Tampa Bay Lightning and Nashville Predators, there were goals. Tampan Walter Merelä finished the performance with 2+1 as Lightning took the game 5–4.
From the Nashville side Joakim Kemell was also successful in scoring and added one assist.
Erik Haula on the other hand, finished New Jersey’s 3–2 winning goal in overtime against the Philadelphia Flyers.
