Patrik Laine continues in Columbus with a four-year contract.

Finnish Star Patrick Laine have done Jarmo Kekäläinen managed a four-year contract extension with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Company announced about it on Friday.
– He is a special player, a real elite-class scorer in the NHL, and he has adapted very well to our group since his arrival, Kekäläinen commented.
The new contract has a total value of 34.8 million dollars. The average salary per season is 8.7 million.
Laine’s previous contract averaged $6.75 million per season.
Columbus was reviewed by the following reporter Aaron Portzline tweeted more details about Laine’s new cardboard. The salary for the latter three seasons is as much as $9.1 million, and those seasons include a list of 10 teams to which Laine cannot be traded.

Laine had been a restricted free agent, meaning his NHL rights were held by Columbus. Columbus acquired Laine in a trade from Winnipeg in January 2021.
The 24-year-old Laine scored 26+30=56 in 56 matches last season. At his best, he scored 44 goals in one season four years ago.
