The French luxury label Patou has opened its first flagship in Paris.
The store is located in the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann department store and was inaugurated last month, Patou parent company LVMH said on Thursday.
It is the label’s first store in its French homeland, after Patou’s retail focus has previously been on Japan and South Korea. There are already a total of ten independent Patou shops there.
“We are proud to open our first store in Paris,” said Patou CEO Sophie Brocart. “Patou embodies the unique Parisian spirit and we look forward to engaging with our local clientele.”
The design of the store within the department store and the use of environmentally friendly and organic materials also reflect the brand’s vision of more mindful and sustainable fashion.
