On Thursday afternoon, dozens of kilos of hard drugs were found in a truck in Breda, the police reported. An observant passer-by saw that things were being loaded from the truck into a van, he thought this was suspicious and therefore called the police.
It concerns about fifteen to twenty bags of white powder. The 45-year-old driver from England has been arrested.
When the police arrived, the van had already left, but the truck was still there. In the cargo area of the truck, police found bags of white powder that they suspect are hard drugs. There were also pallets and boxes in the truck.
The driver was arrested on the spot. The police are investigating the drugs and their origin.
