In the coming weeks, Ajax will have to call on keeper André Onana, just like in the lost match against Go Ahead Eagles. First keeper Remko Pasveer is out for at least eight weeks, while reserve goalkeeper Jay Gorter is sidelined for two weeks.
Both goalkeepers were injured during the warm-up before the match with Benfica in the UEFA Champions League (2-2). Pasveer still kept that match.
Last Sunday André Onana was under the bar in Deventer. Maarten Stekelenburg is still recovering from his hip operation.
