Minister of Justice Vincent Van Quickenborne (Open Vld) is called to account by the chairwoman of the Justice Committee Kristien Van Vaerenbergh (N-VA). The minister is on parental leave this week and has therefore temporarily suspended his activities in the committee. He did make time to appear last Tuesday at the current affairs program ‘De Afspraak’, and that is precisely where the shoe pinches at Van Vaerenbergh.
