At the start of the new Champions League season, a top opponent is waiting for BVB. Bitter for the team: A DFB professional will not be able to participate.

At the start of the Champions League season, Borussia Dortmund has to do without national players Pascal Groß. The midfielder missed the final training on Monday and is not available for the game on Tuesday evening at Juventus Turin (from 9 p.m. in the live ticker at T-Online). The reason is a gastrointestinal infection.

There is also positive news for this: Julian Brandt and Aaron Anselmino return to the squad. Brandt completed the final training with a plaster association on the left arm. The 28-year-old had broken his scabbing at the club World Cup in the summer and had been operated on during the recent international break. In the 2-0 win against 1. FC Heidenheim, he was not part of the impression after he was still on the field at the first games of the season.

Newcomer Anselmino was also missing in Heidenheim. After surviving muscular problems, however, he is now ready for use.
