James Barron, who is currently Partner Brands Director for Asos, is leaving the online retailer.
Barron, who worked for Asos in various positions for more than 13 years, announced his departure on the career network Linkedin on Tuesday. For him, after an “exciting time,” it was now time for a change. He will first have to take a recovery phase. He doesn’t seem to have found a new role yet, as in the post he also asks retailers, brands and suppliers to contact him if they are interested.
He joined Asos in March 2010 from Envy Retail, a UK retail concepts provider, where he took on the role of Head of Buying for Menswear Brands, Outlet. After several other roles in the buying area, he was appointed Partner Brands Director in April 2022.
