Participating in single reality scared Anne Kukkohovi – “I’ve considered all romantic relationships to be sticks”

Anne Kukkohovi says on Instagram that participating in Sometähtie’s Sinkuelämää program felt exciting.

Presenter Anne Kukkohovi is one of the new stars of Sometähtie’s Sinkuelämää series. Kukkohovi says that participating in the program seemed terrifying at the beginning. He thinks this is due to the fact that the series also allows the viewer to get very close mentally.

– Participating in the summer of love of social media stars was really scary at the beginning.

Kukkohovi says in his Instagram post that he noticed two things in particular during the filming of the program.

– The name of the program was scary. I was and still am afraid of being stigmatized. Talking about love, relationships or dating was somehow therapeutic because I realized that the same (big and small) themes come up no matter what topic I talk about.

– The topics are universal, now they were only discussed through relationships/dating. Everything that has happened to me since I was a child until now has defined a lot of my behavior, both with friends and during long relationships. The same behavior patterns, fears and joys are in the same box.

Anne Kukkohovi says that filming the TV series taught her a lot more about herself. Miia Sirén

As another observation, Kukkohovi mentions how much he learned about himself. After his divorce, he has not given any thought to a new relationship. Kukkohovi divorced her entrepreneur husband About Jon in the summer of 2017.

– I haven’t looked for anything in that field. This project forced me to think. What I fear, what I want and what I myself think. In almost all long relationships, I have lost myself and that is why (after the breakup) I have considered all romantic relationships to be sticks.

Kukkohovi is afraid of conflicts. Being on a trip around the world was a good reason to miss appointments.

– And I also realized that when the camera was with me in California, I was able to dodge bullets, because – oh oh – the flight leaves for Finland after the summer, and I won’t have to face people, nor people’s feelings. I’m a little ashamed of this. During the 6 weeks, you will already have time to get to know each other and experience the first conflicts.

Kukkohovi describes filming the series as an interesting human experiment. At the end of his long article, he thanks his loved ones.

– You all gave me a lot to think about and learn about myself.
