A group of well-known Flemish people, who make a crossing with a sailing ship from Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) to Saint Lucia (Caribbean area) for the Flemish TV program Over the Ocean, have ended up in a life-saving operation in the middle of the ocean. Another sailing ship became rudderless, after which a Mayday call was eventually sent for a life-threatening situation.
