Part of the roof of a hall has collapsed at the Willems Logistics company on Spuiweg in Waalwijk. About a sixth of the roof has collapsed, probably due to the weight of heavy snowfall in recent days. The collapse also damaged part of the rear facade, pushing part of the wall inwards by about thirty centimeters.

The Willems Logistics industrial hall is designed with a construction that requires few standing columns. The supporting structure largely consists of trusses on the outside.

The company is currently busy assessing the damage and planning repair work.

It is not yet known how long it will take before the hall can be fully used again. There is no information about possible injuries or personnel involved in the incident. Safety measures have now been taken to prevent further damage.
