Paris Saint-Germain champion of France for the tenth time

Paris Saint-Germain have won the French league title for the tenth time in club history. A 1-1 draw against RC Lens was enough to win the trophy four rounds before the end of the competition.

With 80 points, the Parisian club can no longer be traced by first pursuer Olympique Marseille.

PSG played with the stars Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, but struggled with the number 7. Lens had great opportunities throughout the match. Mbappe was the most dangerous attacker at the home club, but he just couldn’t find it. Trainer Mauricio Pochettino would like to keep the 23-year-old star player, but it is by no means certain that Mbappe will extend his expiring contract.

Messi scored the goal for PSG after almost 70 minutes. The Argentinian received the ball from Neymar and struck hard and accurately. Lens was already playing with ten men, because Kevin Danso had to leave the field after an hour with his second yellow card. Celebrating the title with a win was not awarded to PSG, because just before the end Corentin Jean equalized for Lens.
