Professional cyclist Mads Pedersen has won the second stage of the long-distance Paris-Nice race.
The Dane Mads Pedersen from Team Trek-Segafredo sat down on Monday (March 6th, 2023) after 163.7 km from Bazainville after Fontainebleau in the sprint ahead of Dutchman Olav Kooij (Jumbo-Visma). Pedersen thus also took the lead in the overall standings.
The best German driver was Max Kanter (Cottbus/Movistar Team) in 24th place. Tour de France-Winner Jonas Vingegaard (Denmark/Jumbo-Visma) and his predecessor Tadej Pogacar (Slovenia/UAE Team Emirates) also finished with the peloton. Pogacar is second overall.
