Paris Hilton and Klarna launch Y2K pop-up

Paris Hilton, who shaped the early 2000s with her style, and the payment service provider Klarna are opening a joint pop-up area.

Together they open the doors of the “House of Y2K” in Los Angeles, USA, Klarna announced on Thursday. The name says it all and so the focus is on “the development of shopping and trends from the 2000s to today”. In addition to fashion, it is also about pieces from the fields of technology and beauty.

“I look forward to fans being able to visit the ‘House of Y2K’ to celebrate these trends and see how far shopping has come over the past two decades thanks to new technologies and products like Klarna,” said Hilton . “Not to mention I can also bring along a few of my personal favorite pieces – some of which haven’t been seen in many years!”

One of the highlights is a green velor tracksuit with the slogan “That’s Smoooth” written on the back. This is the title of the associated campaign.

In line with the current Y2K hype, Klarna has dealt with the current trends and asked consumers how the return of styles from the early 2000s was received by them.
