Parents worried about sex in primary school, Rutgers takes video offline due to unrest on social media

Since Monday, the Education & Child Foundation has received ‘dozens of phone calls’ from parents who are concerned about the annual Spring Fever Week, in which children are taught about relationships and sexualities. Many calls have to do with ‘Indian stories’ circulating on social media, says director Lobke Vlaming. The Sexuality Expertise Center Rutgers sees the debate derailing online and is therefore taking an informational video offline for parents to protect the children in the video. “The verbal aggression is more intense than in previous years.”
