Paralympics: First gold for para-biathlete Oksana Masters – Paralympics

Oksana Masters was crowned Paralympic champion in biathlon for the first time. In Pyeongchang 2018, she won two gold medals in cross-country skiing, while sitting in the biathlon competition she had to settle for silver. In Beijing 2022, she also won gold over the six-kilometer distance for the first time with the rifle.

Masters already successful at the Tokyo Olympics

Masters was also successful in rowing for many years, and in the summer she is active in cycling. At the Tokyo 2020 Summer Games, she won two gold medals in the individual time trial and the road race.

Silver went to the Chinese Yilin Shan, bronze to the American Kendall Gretsch.
