Panka leaves FC Volendam, Koorndijk and Van Duijl sign contract

Dyllandro Panka has had his one-year ongoing contract with FC Volendam dissolved and leaves for Quick Boys. He hopes to play more with the second divisionist.

On the website of the Katwijkers, 23-year-old Panka consciously says he is taking a step back in sport. “In the past two years I have played too little. In training sessions I show that I can handle the level, but the competition at FC Volendam is great. In the beginning I did get a chance, but after an injury I went to the background has disappeared. At Quick Boys I hope to find the fun in the game again.”

The wing attacker switched from the amateurs of Purmersteijn to FC Volendam in the summer of 2019. In his first season, until the corona pandemic broke out, he played a reasonable number of matches at Jong FC Volendam. The following season, Panka made his debut in the first team, but did not make a breakthrough. The counter stood at eight substitutions and one goal. At Quick Boys, Panka will meet former Volendam players Jim Beers and Nick Runderkamp.

After their contracts were not extended, Robin Schulte chose to play football at VV Katwijk and Kevin Visser left for AFC.

He came over from the amateurs of Pancaratius in 2018.

The only 16-year-old Billy van Duijl made his debut in the same match as a substitute and then also played one half in the last league match against FC Eindhoven (2-2). The defender, who played football at RKAV Volendam until 2017, has just like Koorndijk signed a contract for three seasons.
