Police say some people in the parking area panicked after hearing a bang. Images shared on social media show people running away in panic and taking cover.
However, no gunman was active in the building. The sound came from a broken glass door, the Las Vegas Police Department said on Twitter. Eyewitnesses say someone threw rocks at the door.
