In ‘Extreme Makeover Vlaanderen’, James Cooke and his friends do everything they can to make Jeremy’s house wheelchair-friendly. And that includes an elevator, which Jeremy can take to the upper floors without any problem. It seems to work, until interior architect Anneke receives an alarming phone call from the construction site… “The elevator doesn’t actually get in”, it sounds. “That is a big problem.” The culprit on duty is a poutrel who gets in the way. It cannot simply be removed without endangering stability. “There is no going back”, it sounds. “We have to take that elevator. If that doesn’t work, the story will stop.”
