An international team of paleontologists from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Utrecht University and the Natural History Museum in London, among others, have used a new method with AI to investigate the diversity of dinosaur species in a well-known and fossil-rich area in Morocco. Through the identification of isolated teeth, they discovered a species that had not previously been found in the area. The VUB has announced this.
