Painful home defeat SV Pesse against competitor

FOOTBALL – SV Pesse suffered a painful defeat in the battle against relegation in the 2nd division K of Sunday football. A 2-1 lead in the make-up game against competitor Oerterp was given away deep in the second half. This puts Pesse in 12th place, which means post-competition football at the end of the day.

Pesse, which, incidentally, was badly injured at the kick-off, is still one place above last in Drachten. The difference with that team is only one point. Incidentally, the gap to a safe tenth place is also manageable, because that is only two points.

All goals came after halftime last night. Dennis van Roeden put Oerterp at 0-1 after 65 minutes, but ten minutes later Pesse had turned the deficit via Remmert Verbrugge (penalty kick) and Ezra Meijer into a lead. Again Van Roeden and Teake van der Hout caused a minor problem in Pesse in the last ten minutes.
