MVV Maastricht – NAC Breda 3-1
After last week’s home win over Helmond Sport, NAC failed to take the three points again on Monday evening. MVV was too strong for the people of Breda at home. Things went wrong for the visitors early in the game. Within fifteen minutes, NAC was already 2-0 behind. After nine minutes, Kostons lobbed the ball past goalkeeper Kortsmit, after which Mart Remans converted a penalty a few minutes later.

After the break, Ruben van Bommel – the son of – made it even worse. With a cool slide he increased the lead again, after which Van der Sande did something back. It turned out to be too late to seriously reduce the tension.
