SC Paderborn came out of the international break with new momentum and have somewhat corrected their false start in the 2nd Bundesliga.
Against newly promoted SV Wehen Wiesbaden, the East Westphalians won 2-1 (0-1) after being 1-0 down and moved into the middle of the table with the second three points in the sixth game. The guests, who started strongly, missed the jump into the top group.
Kianz Froese gave the newcomers the lead after a quick counterattack (23rd), but the Wiesbaden team was only able to celebrate late because the goal was initially disallowed due to an alleged offside position. However, the Cologne cellar reversed the decision.
Shortly after the break, Ivan Prtajin, completely free in front of the goal, missed the chance to make it 2-0 for the guests, just seconds later Sebastian Klaas (51st) equalized for Paderborn. Niclas Nadj (60th) turned the game in favor of the hosts.
